In my freshman season at Hardin-Simmons University, I did all Kick Offs and some PATs and Field Goals while the senior kicker completed rehab from an injury. I went 100% on my Field Goal opportunities and completed 28 PATs. I kicked 24 Touchbacks, plus an overall return average of 17.80 yards with 4+ hang times enabling our team to pin opponents inside the 20 yard.
At Mississippi State University, in the past 2 spring games I have gone two for two on my field goals. In Academics, I am majoring in Business Administration & Marketing with a current Major GPA of 3.08. In high school, I graduated with a 4.75 on a 5.0 scale.
I have been kicking a ball since I was 4 years old — first, through soccer as a forward reaching competitive club play at the D-II level, as well as, earning a spot in Coppell High School's UIL Soccer program. At the start of my junior year, I moved from multiple sports to just focusing on football kicking with the goal of earning a playing spot on our varsity 6-A football team. I achieved that goal participating in two seasons on the Coppell High School varsity team. I succeeded in becoming the starting kicker for Hardin-Simmons University as a freshman, and then transferred to Mississippi State University, joining the Bulldogs football program for my freshman spring semester.
